I still have a permanent collection of 'you' in the wonderfully creative watercolors you always did. How you "hated" birds, you said, yet you always did the whimsical paintings of them with your 2" and 3" house painting brush - no small watercolor brush for you!

Your art that your Mom gave me still hangs in my house, and has ever since I've had a home. I still get a smile when I look at the one that I've always kept in my bedroom - have even kept those that were damaged from the smoke and water damage from the fire that took you from us - because they captured your personality and how you perceived what you saw in life so perfectly and they are what I have left of your gift.

I can still see you as if it were yesterday. Strawberry blond hair, freckles, and that infectious care-free smile and laugh.

You thought that 30 was old, and you never wanted to get there. Well, unfortunately you never got even close and therefore never got the chance to share all that you were and had with so many others that would have loved you and loved to share your uniqueness.

I also think of the crazy times - like cruisin' Earnie's on West Market Street, which you pronounced "Earnchie's" after one too many one night

I think of you often, especially since my birthday is August 1st and yours August 2nd.

I still miss you after all these years. You were such a wonderful person in my life, and the most special friend I ever had.

I guess I never said goodbye. I still can't.

Love,
Molly
