So sorry to read about Gail's passing away.  I have known her since our St. Pius X school days.  Our families were friends for many years.  She will be missed.  Rest in peace, Gail.

It's so sad to hear of Gail's passing. She was family friends to Maxine's and my family. She was such a warm, caring class mate and friend. Rest in peace our friend!

Gail and I were the best of friends since High School days. I happened to be in Greensboro to visit her, but sadly she was in the hospital.  I visited her everyday and I know she knew it was me who sat by her side.  My heart is broken and feel terrible for her sister, Chris, her many nieces, nephew and cousins. It is so hard to wrap my head around this terrible tragedy.  I will miss her so much.

Have not seen Gail in many years but knew she and my sister Mebane were very involved in many groups and clubs together. Gail was loved by many, not only from years at PAGE but also from her involvment in the city. May she rest in peace.. I am blessed to have had the pleasure of being her friend.. Prayers to all of her family. Dee

The world has lost a beautiful soul, and I have lost a dear, lifelong friend. It  breaks my heart to write these words. Rest in peace, Gail.

I was in shock when I heard about Gail.  When we lived in Greensboro and especially downtown, I would always run into her at events or just walking down the street.  She always had a smile on her face, and was such a great community leader.  My prayers for her family as they navigate this sudden loss. Rest in peace, Gail.

Like Geoff, Gail and I go back to kindergarden at St. Pius X. She was always a kind, calming presence in an otherwise chaotic class. She carried this quality throughout her life. Her gifts to the community were numerous, and she will be deeply missed.
