Cran was in my homeroom for two years. He sat in the same row ahead of me. I was so saddened by his death. I felt so sorry for his brother and parents. It was very difficult for me to look at his empty seat after returning from Thanksgiving that year. Janis Flynn-Smith.
As I recall Cran died by accident while hunting one weekend. I’m not sure but— he was climbing a fence and fell and his gun accidentally fired. Please correct if wrong.
Cran died in a hunting accident, gun discharged when he jumped down from a tree. Cran and his brother Greg lived on the same street as we did (Twain Road) and they were our boyfriends (respectively) back at Cone School. He was a sweet guy.
